In response to the election, we've expanded the design of our marketing capabilities. Using our own data, we've created a "tweeter dashboard" that is a tool for tracking those who tweeted out campaigns on different days or even days.
So far, the campaign data that we've collected on our website has revealed significant improvements for campaign owners – we're seeing a big jump in our lead time.
Our data, while not comprehensive, certainly shows an immediate improvement.
I wrote about today what I've noticed while trying to optimize our campaigns. You can download the campaign stats and their details HERE. The results show we've improved our lead time a lot even without getting any of the big ad spending numbers.
But at the same time, we don't have to be so cautious, we can focus on getting this data together with you.
This is where we're going to try and combine campaigns that you've already seen on other social media platforms with your own. Don't let that fool you just yet…

These days, they say, you don't have to do all that hard work to impress people. Here, too, you can start building rapport with your customers by showing up at their door, making sure each person says hello, and making sure the other customer knows who you are.
People sometimes tell me that they don't buy the product because of sales people (I don't mean sales people, either), but they actually have no idea how to use sales people to convince you that you're working with a big company in the wrong place.
When I'm in Seattle, I can walk around alone in an airport lounge while two female sales people and two men stare at me. When they approach me on the other side of the door, they're probably going to ask if I had a question or a recommendation, and then when I tell them that I don't, they'll say that I'm a "lady who sells books for kids," and then they'll go on and on about what really gets sold at my door.
But once you get to do a saleswoman job, you don't have to do this—you're probably just as good at it as you are when you've got an ad copy.
