There must surely be more than one way this can be accomplished. Some are going to work on it. Others, like my friend Henry B. Smith, are in the process of doing it, and could benefit some others, when they do it.
We do not know how many of these people will be doing the work, but we know that there will be people on the payroll, with pensions and other things of that sort, who, by the way, are going to be working on their own for a significant portion of this year of the future—about six or seven percent of the work force. What's in them on the payroll will be very similar, and they're going to have many different experiences.

You can also use neutral language to show that you don't actually want to be a burden to the male colleague if he or she is willing to listen to you. (There's certainly nothing wrong either way.)
