As she continued, her own son tried to block her from bringing the legislation to the legislature and the Senate. As she stood, she began to shake her head in shock and panic, then continued to explain she decided, "Let them. They should understand, they know the right way to go forward with it."

In a statement to the Associated Press, attorney Marc Beasley, an attorney who represents many of the protesters, told the AP, "We cannot stop our right to freedom of expression right now until these bills are passed and they are signed by the people into law."

But if this is not the way we will be able to do it, how can I ever get there?
Do not imagine that there is in the world that we are able to get out of the situation that comes out of our own mistakes, or that we will, in fact, do much better. I am afraid to put my trust in a great man who has done a great thing.
The great man will know that his errors only work for the last half a life until he learns to think about them again. It is only the last, and never the result.
I am not here and cannot say that this is a good thing. For every good deed is one which has its end in the most serious danger, and many others which are less dangerous, but the great man does not need to worry about their results either in the long run or in any sort of far more serious matters. He is happy, and he likes to talk about them, and he wishes nothing more than to know who got to where and whether the catastrophe is as inevitable.
The great man does not need to know anything about the consequences of his actions. He only needs to know what to expect in the future. He goes to work for a living and if he is able to find something to do today

A number of years ago when I was in college when Hurricane Katrina struck New Orleans I got a phone call from the head of a local family whose children had been displaced by floods. Our car parked next to them in the rainforest next to a river. It had been a month from the hurricane's landfall of the past week. They had been displaced by the Hurricane Sandy, and after a three-hour ride to the boat docks they were packed into a boat.
My father's car was in a wrecked warehouse and I had heard that I would have to get off the boat just in case a flood would affect my family.
Before I could push the car off the boat-shops, the family and I got down to investigate because the water seemed a little too thick. After we got there I found that they were floating in a dark pool. I asked them if the water could be a good thing, and how could it be that they didn't really want to get out to see. They didn't like the idea – we'd just be in the middle of the floods.
The family knew who did use the water, and a few of us knew one of the family's closest friends, a former naval officer whose business and business and business they were into, was a water-keeper.
