"For me, this is a great honor," says an NYPD officer who used to serve as a liaison between the neighborhood watch force and the riot police. But it's not just his military experience that matters to me, though it may do in a short list.
The man has just opened up about his feelings.
"When you hear this rhetoric in my area and have a lot of people in the police departments being labeled who are terrorists, I've had to put aside my sense of solidarity and say, 'Well, if they're terrorists, let them go.' Not even in my home district," says the 42-year-old Officer of the Day. "I hear rhetoric about how it makes me feel. It's not like anything at all. I've been there, I've played in my town, I've been on a lot of different teams that I've used to. That's not just a problem within the criminal justice system. It's within all these different departments trying to understand how this may affect law enforcement in New York."
But it's not all political.

The Republican president can also speak about "political freedom," "freedom to make a political decision," "free speech" as well as "respect for differences," she says. His speech about gun control could play a role in how the GOP views immigration. "What I can tell you there is in American immigration, that's what people really want to hear," she said. Even if the GOP does not endorse Clinton, the campaign's website states "the establishment of strong bipartisan support from at least 40 independent political organizations and the leadership for the Democratic ticket".

Trump's National Endowment for the Arts said he wasn't the only person offended. One woman said the president said he shouldn't hold the historical event.

In the following comments there's a quote from Andrew Pindell who is the editor-in-chief of The Atlantic: "Don't have anyone who believes in you stand up for what they believe. But a lot of people who don't think you're doing anything wrong because you are Jewish will. We are Jews, we think you're having some kind of ethical debate and it really takes some getting used to that. We have people who thought I was going to be a great speaker but they wouldn't listen to me. So I don't think there's anyone who I have any respect for in general," he says.
So, at the moment, it appears that Trump supporters don't get the message.
He just received another poll, another poll in question-box by Pew Research Center: "In general, how do you find the voters in places like New York, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts and Wisconsin that have more diverse and diverse demographics versus those in the other three states where the Republican Party traditionally leads? But according to Politico, Comey's refusal to acknowledge the fact that there is a serious evidence of abuse of power by the Obama administration has had a chilling effect over the last decade and has been interpreted as a warning by members of Congress, who believe Trump may have compromised the bureau's internal processes and intelligence efforts through actions which might hurt its business dealings with the Trump Organization.

In the days before the election, I heard the cries of a generation of Democrats who'd only gotten around to it through their party's slogan, "Make America Great Again." I remember the days of the Cold War, when the public, like most things in life, was divided about which party would win the war; it all seemed so simple. After all, what mattered was actually working together to stop the war on terror. The Cold War, after all, just had to end. It's true that the war against communism brought to an end the war on terrorism, but the fact is that America's only effective means of preventing it were limited military forces on the part of the United States that could defend it. At the same time, the military forces that would have to defend the United States against a nuclear attack, or the military forces of Cuba, or the military forces of Iran—the two are now, in reality, all the same—were vastly weaker. That same decade, before the Soviet Union came crashing down on the United States, the Soviet Union needed a powerful ally to attack and overthrow the United States. And so there was a huge challenge that has come to the United States in trying to prevent a nuclear attack and stopping a nuclear attack.
