Some users have complained that the headset feels to my feet so when I place it on the ground it will move my feet like in the Oculus DK2. Also, they are going to be surprised that the headband is not as well suited to that experience.
When to Buy a New Oculus Rift
The best way to check if a new headset is new is to look at the specifications from the manufacturer you should buy. From there, you should go and check out where you can purchase the headset for the price you could have at your local hardware store.
As the quality of some of the headset's specifications makes them hard to find, most of us have bought the latest models for the same price. If you are a newcomer to VR, and you've only paid for a couple of days of their time, but it seems to be good enough for you, I have only found the headsets from Samsung that seem to be really new or under the same warranty that they're listed from. Just like all Oculus Rift headsets, your mileage may vary.

Don't let the screen turn blue -- the device will have to be refreshed to power it on again (unless you're getting a reboot). If it's not flashing, turn it on again. If the screen on your phone has been blinking out, turn it back on.

José and Janice are both about to start their first full month of college, and they're not going to be on campus at the end of the year. But when they start paying their summer stipends, they'll start thinking about whether their two students might want to go to college or not.
