A new study from the Singapore Bureau of Statistics estimates that between 2002 and 2011, there were at least 600,000 migrants, mainly from Central and West Asia. The biggest proportion were from Japan, South Korea and Bangladesh. In addition to Central Asia, over the same period, the number of immigrants from North America, Europe and Asia have increased by at least 75 percent.
While the number of refugees has only increased slightly with a relatively modest increase during the past decade—a net increase of about 2 million migrants in 2002 and 1.3 million in 2011—there was a modest increase in 2008, when they numbered 15 million people, the report says. The biggest surge in population growth is seen in 2007, when the number of immigrants reached 11.4 million and the total number of migrants from different ethnic groups increased by just 3.5 percent.

I think it's fair to say we're seeing a pretty slow fall in cable viewing, but they're falling far enough that they are putting their money where their mouths are by making big investments in cable and satellite.
