Not because they're rude.   Not because they're difficult.   But because they value their time, energy, and peace more than being liked. Here's what I've seen: People will test how serious you are.   They'll push.   They'll take more than they give.   And not because they're bad…  But because most people aren't used to being around someone with standards. That's why boundaries aren't walls. They're filters. They let the right people in.   And keep the wrong energy out…without drama, without resentment, without apology. The moment you start saying: - "That doesn't work for me."   - "I don't accept being spoken to like that."   - "This isn't aligned with how I operate." You stop negotiating your worth.   And you start teaching people how to treat you.
